Top 10 Posts of 2013

It's time for our annual countdown of top yearly blog posts. A big thanks to all our readers this year! We are so grateful for your love and support. Here are the favorite recipes as picked by you and the other users of the internet, starting at number 10 and moving upward.

10--Morning Berry Smoothie-- Our dairy-free breakfast treat that is full of fruit and vegetables! Simple to make, this smoothie is a great way to start your day off right!

9--Top Ten Smoothies-- You guys must like smoothies as a way to get your healthy eating in, because this post was really popular. If you missed it, check it out to see our delicious Chai Banana and Cucumber Lime Smoothies, along with 8 other popular choices.

8--Mint and Chip Green Smoothie-- Okay, okay, just one more smoothie??? This one is seriously amazing, and obviously our readers liked it too. Mint + chocolate + spinach = healthy amazingness. (Yes, that's a word.)

7--Vegetarian Black Bean and Brown Rice Chili-- This recipe is crockpot friendly, making it easy to make ahead of time. Add some fresh vegetables to the top and you have a delicious meal.

6--Strawberry Banana Basil Smoothie-- Have you ever added basil to a smoothie? I hadn't either. This is a yummy, unconventional way to use some of those herbs in your herb garden. Isn't a beauty?

5--Homemade Fruit Roll-Ups--  These Apricot Fruit Roll-ups only use fruit! No other sweeteners or additives. That's a lot better than most of the kinds you find at the store!

4--Refrigerator Chocolate Peanut Butter Protein Cookies (Raw)-- These are so simple to make and are a healthy snack for when my kids come home from school! You could even eat them for breakfast.

3--Healthy Nut and Seed Bites-- These bites are a little bit of healthy heaven. They include all our favorite nuts and seeds with just a little bit of sweetener. A great snack for when you're busy.

2--How to Make Cookies Healthier-- This post not only includes a fabulous recipe, but it also explains a little bit of the process of how we adjust our baked recipes. The cookies were really good, too. :)

1--Mulling Spices Mix--You guys loved our healthy, happy neighborhood gift idea! This was our best recipe of the year, and we only posted it in November! Thank you for helping us have a great year!
